The dog on the cover is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and our hero Levi Bradshaw has two of them to protect his mountain property, as well as a wounded pointer he’s nursed back to health. Caryn Orlane has a pet, too, that travels with her in the RV where she makes her 
home–a green iguana.
